While Breeze and the Southshore Bay HOA are separate entities, I’m lumping them together because you can’t deal with the HOA without dealing with Breeze.
The HOA is kind of like the police. They don’t make the rules, they just enforce them. We have a dedicated HOA director named Jessie, who I guess is responsible for driving through the neighborhood every once in a while to see if there’s any violations.
I honestly haven’t paid much attention to the HOA, because they aren’t involved in any of the issues I consider to be problems. The gates, dog parks, roads, sidewalks, that’s all the CDD’s territory. Breeze (and by extension, the HOA) is only concerned with making sure to collect everyone’s money.
I fully believe the Breeze call center staff wants to be helpful, they’re just not trained well enough or informed enough to do so.
